Within the scope of THEQC Institutional Accreditation Program (IAP), Quality Commission Institutional Accreditation Program Senior Management Briefing Meeting was held by Gazi University Quality Commission with the participation of stakeholders and under the chairmanship of our Rector Prof. Dr. Musa Yıldız. Vice Rectors, Rector’s Advisors, Academic Unit Managers, Quality Commission Members and Gazi University Faculty Members who has served and/or serving as THEQC Evaluators attended the meeting.

In the opening speech of the meeting held in Mimar Kemaleddin Hall, our Rector Prof. Dr. Musa Yıldız announced to the participants that within the scope of THEQC Institutional Accreditation Program, Turkish Higher Education Quality Council Evaluation Team will be making an actual visit to our University between October 31, 2022 and November 4, 2022 and make evaluations at our University for five days.

Rector Prof. Dr. Musa Yıldız who stated that Institutional Accreditation would be the assurance to carry out our quality activities which can set an example in all service areas of our University, in accordance with the requirements of the age; that it would certify that we meet the high standards of academic life and that it would support our success to rise to the top in the research university league also expressed that the entire management team worked hard to elevate the privileged position of our University during their two years in office and that he wholeheartedly believed that this success would be crowned with institutional accreditation.

After the opening speech of our Rector Prof. Dr. Musa Yıldız, Vice Chairman of the Commission, Prof. Dr. Ramazan Bayındır made an informative presentation to the participants on evluation and processes and activities of Quality Commission. After sharing the knowledge and experience of the faculty members of our university, who are working as THEQC External Evaluators, the meeting was concluded with a question and answer session.
