Our University, which continuously monitors and improves its education and training, research and development, social contribution and management processes in line with the criteria determined by Turkish Higher Education Quality Council (THEQC), has been included in the Institutional Accreditation Program in 2022. In addition to Institutional Accreditation, our university also attaches great importance to program accreditation studies, which play a major role in the operation of quality assurance systems in our education programs. Program accreditation is the evaluation of the programs at regular intervals within the framework of the principles and standards determined by the independent evaluation institutions and the certification that the criteria of the relevant institution are met by the program. Program accreditation is an important tool in terms of ensuring that the educational content of the programs is constantly evaluated and updated in line with the needs of the age.
In our University, whose accreditation tradition dates back to the 2000s, efforts to accredit our programs within the framework of the standards determined by the relevant institutions has accelerated, in parallel with the studies of THEQC to increase the number of national external evaluator institutions that will accredit programs in our country. As a result of the studies carried out to date, 17 undergraduate programs have been accredited by different institutions and organizations.
