The third of the Quality Improvement Plan 2023 Monitoring Meetings was held under the chairmanship of our Vice Rector and Deputy Chairman of the Quality Commission, Prof. Dr Ramazan Bayındır. The meeting was held on 19.09.2023 in the Rectorate Meeting Hall with our Secretary General Ragıp Akyürek, Quality Commission Members, Quality Coordination Office, and representatives of our University Institutional Coordination Offices.
In the opening speech of the meeting, Deputy Chairman of the Quality Commission, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ramazan Bayındır pointed out that our Institutional Coordination Offices, which are structured for the areas in which our University provides service, have a critical role in ensuring coordination with the relevant units, and emphasized that the studies carried out together and in synergy will produce much faster and more successful results. Prof. Dr. Ramazan Bayındır said that our Coordination Offices have a great responsibility to implement improvements that will bring the institution to better points, and for this reason, six institutional coordinators serve as members of the Quality Commission.
Prof. Dr. Ramazan Bayındır stated that what we did and could not do was evaluated at the Quality Improvement Plan 2023 Monitoring Meetings, and what we could do in the remaining period of the year was planned together. Prof. Dr. Ramazan Bayındır asked the Institutional Coordinators to come together with stakeholder units and evaluate together the work that needs to be done in the remaining period of the year. Prof. Dr. Ramazan Bayındır emphasized that our University's thematic handbooks should be updated and delivered to stakeholders. “I know your task is difficult; however, we must work determinedly without forgetting that all this is a service to our youth, our society and our country.” Concluding his speech with these words, Deputy Chairman of the Quality Commission, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ramazan Bayındır gave the floor to the institution coordinators to make their presentations.
At the 3rd session of the Quality Improvement Plan 2023 Monitoring Meetings, Research and Development Institution Coordinator Prof. Dr. Gonca Çakmak, BELTEK General Coordinator Assoc. Dr. Uğur Gökmen, Education and Training Institution Coordinator Prof. Dr. Seyfullah Yıldırım, Occupational Health and Safety Coordinator Lect. Mehmet Gülsün, Corporate Data Management Coordinator Prof. Dr. Fatih Emre Boran, Social Affairs and Social Contribution Institution Coordinator Prof. Dr. Selami Candan, International Relations Institution Deputy Coordinator Lect. Dr. Ekin Akgezer, TEKNOFEST and Competitions Deputy Coordinator Asst. Prof. Dr. Sultan Çıkrık and Campuses Institution Coordinator Lect. Hacı Doğan informed the participants about the improvement activities carried out in the first six months of 2023 within the scope of the Quality Improvement Plan and Institutional Accreditation Report. The Quality Commission Quality Improvement Plan Meeting, where new improvement activities for the quality assurance system were decided, ended with best wishes.
